GENIUS®’s patented air conditioning technology is based on the simultaneous dehumidification and cooling of outside air by segmented heat and mass transfer using a liquid desiccant that can be regenerated indefinitely. Simply said — thanks to breakthrough technology, GENIUS® air conditioners provide controllable workspace comfort and outstanding indoor air quality at a lower installed cost, lower operating cost and lower maintenance cost. Efficiency

• Ultra-high EERs achieved by triple energy use in the hybrid units. EERs will vary with climate and are typically 20 to 25 at ARI-A and much higher in more humid climates. The gas-driven units have CoPs double those of normal absorption units.
• Lower energy consumption by heat recovery — the desiccant-based system removes latent heat energy from the hot, moist air and achieves up to 80% heat recovery from outgoing air. A variety of energy sources including waste hot water can be used to regenerate the liquid desiccant. Low electricity use due to innovative desiccant pump design.
